Its always nice to catch up with old friends and even nicer when they are coming back for more photos.
Debbie had her maternity session with me a few years ago and wanted pictures of both Claudia and Anabell with thier cousins Racheal and Ana. What could be easier than 4 lovley active girls and a studio of distractions !

I met Nancy and Scott to go through the final wedding details and timings in Solihull, Birmingham over a large Cappuccino and we had to have a little portrait session. They get married in November in the UK - a very brave decision but not one that fazed them for a second. With a lot of laughter and boundless energy ( even after Nancy’s massive hen weekend leaving her without much of a voice ) They were pretty much game for anything ! My kinda people !
I can’t wait to photograph your wedding guys - no matter what the weather throws at you I can tell its going to be an amazing day.

Its not often that I get to photograph guys as good looking as Ismail without a bride attached to their arm. But Ismail came to the studio alone for a very specific reason, he just needed a few pictures for his new career out in Dubai.
With the sun shining in normally rainy Bolton ( for a very welcome change ) and some time spare after the studio session we got out and took a few more relaxed portraits.

The lovely Thomas family came to the Studio for a family portrait session as a present for their Mum and Dads wedding anniversary. havng such a great bunch of people to photograph I thought it would be a shame to stay inside the studio and took advantage of one of the very few sunny days we've had this year to photograph the family outside in the grounds of the studio.

Taken as a surprise birthday present for their Mum - Jeni and her sister came over to the studio for a fun portrait session. They wanted a relaxed fun look and over an hour we took photos against a white and black background as well as some shots in the grounds of the studio.

When Jeni has made her choice of the final print we'll print it onto canvas and send it to her ready to hang - perfect gift for a mum.

One of the most requested type of final images has been the excellent quality stretched canvas prints. I gave a set of these as a present this christmas of my two sons, photographed and manipulated to provide a unusual effect of showing half a face with in black and white and just the eye in colour. Using a retouchers trick of "popping the eye" colour the final prints provide a striking image.

Friends often comment on the pictures and more than a few have had their own done. These were shot in the Mcfarlane's back garden and printed onto canvas.

I've never been a surprise birthday present before ! The Seddons booked me for a portrait session and I was only too happy to turn up at 2pm prompt to spring the suprise.




It was ( typically for Bolton ) FREEZING ! and fair play to the Seddons - they stood outside and had a laugh enjoying the day.
