Debbie and Mat get married at the picturesque Walton Hall at the very end of December. Thankfully the sun decided to make a late showing for this engagement session but it still only just managed to raise the outside temperature above freezing !! We met at the hall and grabbed a coffee before having a stroll in the crisp autumn air. This has to be one of my favorite times of the year.

It’s going to be a very festive wedding at the Hall and I can’t wait !

I was really looking forward to Nancy and Scott’s wedding day and I’m glad to say it was a great day.
Kicking things off with the breakfast of champions Nancy downed 2 bacon sandwiches and a big cup of tea ! Way to go !

With the November weather promising to wash out the group photos, it was a pleasant surprise to have no rain showers to dodge. Moving on to the reception at Solihull Moors FC ( I never did find out if the home team won that day ) we even managed a few shots down near the pitch later that day.

I’m pretty certain there were more than a few sore heads the following day as both Nancy, Scott and all their great family and friends really know how to party !

We headed out onc chilly ( but thankfully dry ) Manchester saturday to get a few relaxed natural light headshots for her portfolio. Roaming around the Northern Quarter Erica pointed out a fantastic graffiti wall on the side of the sunshine studios building and I had to get a couple of shots there.

They get married in November in the UK - a very brave decision but not one that fazed them for a second. With a lot of laughter and boundless energy ( even after Nancy’s massive hen weekend leaving her without much of a voice ) They were pretty much game for anything ! My kinda people !
I can’t wait to photograph your wedding guys - no matter what the weather throws at you I can tell its going to be an amazing day.

But Ismail came to the studio alone for a very specific reason, he just needed a few pictures for his new career out in Dubai.
With the sun shining in normally rainy Bolton ( for a very welcome change ) and some time spare after the studio session we got out and took a few more relaxed portraits.

The new gallery owned by David and Claire is located near to the Tate gallery itself in the Albert Dock.
The evening was a huge success - despite the very best efforts of the weather with near hurricane winds ( at least thats what it felt like to me trying to take pictures on the side of the dock ) and the added bonus of Westlife playing a concert in the nearby Echo Arena.
